Cystic Fibrosis affects so many people around the world and it's only when you actually meet someone with CF or know someone that you truly understand what life is like for a sufferer or family of someone with CF.

My friend James died last night at 4:55pm of cystic fibrosis at the age of 22 years old. It's such a shock as he looked so healthy a few months ago. We all miss him very much and it's still not sinking in just yet what has happened... We love you James, and we're happy that you're not suffering anymore x x x

my name is kathy an my daughter died of CF 14 years ago. I know the womwn who was responsible for the vest. her name was annalisa mazarotto she was a countess from italy, We pretty much lived at the unniversity of minnesota hospital. she was diagnosed at 6 months an we fought that ugly disease for 18 years, she died after her last stay of 6 months, we got on the transplant list but it was too late, she died 2 weeks after her birthday. when she was diagnosed i was pregnant so i was one of the first woman to have the unborn fetus tested to see if he had the disease, thank god he doesnt.i am sad to say its ruined my life.god bless all of you thank you ive never done anything like this since she died. guess it was time.

My Husband Walter Popish passed away 3 weeks ago ~ March 2nd, 2010. He was 35. He never let CF get in the way of his dreams and aspirations. He loved the outdoors and never passed up the chance to be with his son Cody doing everything and anything they could possibly do together! We love him so much! We miss him so much!! xoxoxoxox

When Adam told me that you had passed away last night, I didn't really know how to handle it. Although we hadn't seen each other in a while, you have always had a special place in my heart and you really did have an amazing impact on my life. You and I had so much fun together, especially the time we stole a handicapped shopping cart from Target and rode it around the parking lot. You were always an amazing friend to me, and I'm sorry that I wasn't around more recently. I know wherever you are, though, you're probably enjoying some of that Sunkist Orange Soda that you loved so much, and you're definitely rocking out to some killer music. I will miss you so much, and I will never forget you or the good times we had together. I know I'll see you again someday, and until then, I'll always have a special place in my heart for you.

Almost two years!
On Saturday my best friend Swanny will have been flying with the angels for two years, life just seems to get harder and harder but at least every day brings me one day closer to seeing her again :)

my sister laura died age 3 months on the 27th of august 1985. i was not born then so i did not know her. it hurts so much not being able to look up to her as a big sis but i know she is an angel in heaven now and the brightest star in the sky.
